When a piano can no longer adequately hold a tune it may be time to rebuild. In rebuilding a piano we remove the old strings and dampers. Then we hoist out the cast iron plate and remove the old pin block. Then we repair and refinish the soundboard and bridge. At this point we install a new pin block and put it all back together with new strings and new dampers. If necessary, hammers and other action parts can also be replaced.
We're pleased to provide piano rebuilding and restoration services to customers across the Roanoke and NRV area, including Roanoke, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Salem.
